4 Quick and Effective Treadmill Workouts


30-second Sprint Intervals

This workout will have you sweating by the end. Start with an easy pace, warm up, jog for 5 minutes, sprint for 30 seconds, jog for 90 seconds, repeat 9 more times, cool down 4 minutes.

Side Stepping Workout

A 1% incline treadmill is set to a comfortable pace. Start with a minute of walking, then move to an easy jog, then back to walking, then side shuffle your feet for 30 seconds, then return to walking.

Walk the Hills/Run the Flats

This 30 minute workout includes warm-up, cardio, hills, cool-down, and 5 minutes of rest. It is best done on a treadmill with a 1% incline.

Calorie-Blasting Pyramid Workout

This workout combines running and walking intervals and burns a ton of calories. Start with a 3-minute warm-up of easy jogging or brisk walking, then do the following intervals - 30-second medium-paced running/30-second.
